Is it cutting out? Is it silent? Can you barely hear it? Or maybe you have no sound playing from either the speakers or the headphones (or both?). Your Chromebook is still playing sound through the speakers when you have headphones or earbuds plugged into the audio jack. You just want to listen to some music or watch some movies without disturbing your roommates. You plug in your headphones, but the sound still comes out of the speakers.
