Mucked about with some random other stuff for a bit while I plot-assassinated my way through three generations of Dukes of Munster, leaving a Cathar on the throne. Picked up Leinster very quickly after that when my father died. Got Ossory a couple years later the same way.

The game was going great - I married my heir into an alliance with Gwynned, got lucky on a fast claim forge against Kildare, then used my alliances (with Gwynned and my father in Leinster) to nab up Kildare. Started a fresh game as one of my favorite characters (Count Murchad of Dublin in 1066) to run another "Let's see how fast we can form Ireland in THIS patch!" game. So, I like the idea of Ironman mode, and I like getting achievements, but I apparently need to stop making stupid mistakes if I'm going to play it.
